The Devil's River

The Devil's River springs from the Strandzha Mountain, passes through the town of Primorsko and flows into the Black Sea in the northern part of the central beach. It receives its waters from the Devil's Swamp, whose level is below sea level. The bay of the same name, which forms the river and the swamp, has estuarine features, bogs, overgrown with reeds and rushes. It is allowed to fish throughout its valley. The Yasna Polyana dam was also built on it.
